Personalized letter from Santa, ready to print

A letter from Santa hits differently when it says the right things: the spelling of the name, the wobbly tooth from November, the dog who ate the gingerbread house. Dear Claus writes that letter — real letter text composed for your child, Santa's signature in ink, and a print-ready PDF in about five minutes.

Santa Claus
The North Pole
North Pole,
December 2026

Dear Mia,

Hello there! I’m writing to you from my big desk by the fire, with a list of kind children on one side and a plate of cookies on the other. You can guess which side empties first. The sky here turned pink at noon today, the way it does before a big snow, and every elf ran outside at once to look at it. They don’t do that for just anything.

Somehow you make ordinary days feel like small celebrations. Nobody teaches that; it’s a talent. You have grown taller, kinder and braver this year, in your own way and at your own pace. That’s exactly how it should be done.

Keep being exactly who you are. That’s my favorite part of you. Have the merriest Christmas there is, and see you on the big night!

P.S. A carrot or two by the door works wonders. The reindeer land softer and the bells ring sweeter. Nobody dribbles on the doormat. Usually.

With love and a sleigh-bell ring,
Santa Claus

What makes it feel real

Children check the details. They look for their name in Santa's handwriting, they check whether Santa knows about the lost tooth or the new baby, and they absolutely check the postmark. Every Dear Claus letter is composed from what you tell us: achievements you're proud of, one thing they're working on, a wish or two, and the small life events that made this year theirs.

The letter text is not a template with a name slot. The same answers produce different letters for a 4-year-old and a 10-year-old, and the North Pole envelope carries a real address block, a stamp and a wax seal. Print it, and the only giveaway is the printer ink on your hands.

When to give it

Most families mail it (see the mailing tip below) or tuck it into the tree on Christmas Eve. It also works earlier in December, when belief needs a booster shot: a letter that arrives 'from the North Pole' on December 1st buys you three and a half weeks of excellent behaviour.

Printing tips

Print on the heaviest paper your printer accepts — 24 lb (90 gsm) or more reads as 'real stationery' under the tree light. Choose 'Actual size', not 'Fit to page', so the border and address block keep their proportions. US Letter and A4 are both supported; the wizard picks the right one from your locale, and you can switch it in step 4.

If you plan to 'mail' the letter to yourself, print the envelope too, fold the letter in thirds, and have a neighbour or a grandparent post it — a real postmark is the final boss of Christmas magic.

Questions parents ask

How personalized is the letter, really?

You answer a few short questions about your child — name, age, city, what they've done well, what they're working on, a wish — and the letter engine composes text that references those details. Two children with different answers never get the same letter.

What do I receive, exactly?

A PDF bundle you download and print at home: the personal letter, the North Pole envelope, and (in the kit and above) a Nice List certificate. Everything is print-ready at 300 dpi in US Letter or A4.

Will my child spot that it's printed?

Use heavier paper, print at actual size, and age the paper for a few minutes on a warm radiator if you like the vintage look. Most parents tell us the handwriting and the wax seal do the convincing.

How fast can I have it?

About five minutes: three steps of questions, one step to preview, one to download. No waiting for shipping — you print it tonight.
